KARACHI: Currently winning hearts with her performance in Dobara combined with the success of her debut project, Raqeeb Se, Hadiqa Kiani is clearly here to stay in the world of dramas. Choosing unique roles for both of her initial dramas, Kiani is now set to star in a third serial titled Pinjra. What makes the project even more special is the fact that the script is the last one penned by Asma Nabeel, who lost her life to breast cancer earlier this year.

Asma Nabeel is known for commendable scripts like Khaani and Khuda Mera Bhi Hai. One can expect Pinjra to have an impressive storyline as well combined with Najaf Bilgrami’s direction. The drama is being produced by Shazia Wajahat and Wajahat Rauf and will air on ARY Digital.
Sharing BTS clips from the sets of Pinjra, Shazia Wahajat revealed that Aashir Wajahat will also be starring in the drama while Omair Rana’s participation had been speculated earlier.
While more details about the cast are yet to be revealed, Dananeer Mobeen’s recent interaction with Hadiqa Kiani makes one wonder if the former will be starring in the project as well, given that she has already stepped into the world of dramas with her debut role in Sinf-e-Aahan. However, nothing can be confirmed until the team announces the news themselves.
