KARACHI: A series of new dramas are set to go on air after Ramadan, with Hum Tv taking the lead with Aakhir Kab Tak which went on air on May 16. Following its lead is Yun Toh Hai Pyar Bahut, which is ready to release its first episode on May 21. Starring Affan Waheed and Hira Mani in key roles, the recently released teaser hints towards a love story between a struggling musician and an ambitious woman.
From the first look of the drama, Mani seems to be working two jobs to make ends meet while Waheed’s character, Zain, has quit his hotel gig in pursuit of a solo album. “The two people in love are struggling to shine in their respective passions but the universe had different plans for them. The drama is a joint collaboration between Momina Duraid and Kashif Saleem, who has also directed it,” Affan Waheed revealed in a conversation with Cutacut earlier.
Aliya Bukhari has provided the script for Yun Toh Hai Pyar Bahut while other cast members include Jawed Sheikh, Nadia Hussain and Maria Mirza.
Affan Waheed and Hira Mani were previously seen together on screen in drama serials Do Bol and Ghalati, while Waheed has been winning hearts in the ongoing drama Shehnai. Witnessing the return of one of the most admired on-screen couples will definitely be a treat for Affan Waheed and Hira Mani’s fans. We hope the new project is able to live up to the expectations of the masses.
