KARACHI: It seems like fans of Sana Javed are in for quite a few treats with the actor announcing multiple projects within the last few days. While we wait to see her opposite Zahid Ahmed in Muhabbat Ek Saza, drama serial Kala Doriya also recently released its teasers. Starring Sana Javed and Osman Khalid Butt in lead roles, the show promises to be a light hearted comedy and provide a break from all the sob stories we are currently witnessing on screen.

Written by Saima Akram Chaudhry who gave us massive hits like Ishq Jalebi not too long ago, we can expect Kala Doriya to be packed with humour and hilarious characters as well. Even better is the fact that the writer has once again teamed up with director Danish Nawaz for the latest project. With the duo having gathered massive praises for Chupke Chupke and Hum Tum both, Kala Doriya has the bar set quite high for itself with the writer-director duo hopefully managing to deliver once again.

In drama serial Kala Doriya, Sana Javed and Osman Khalid Butt play college/university students who are not only classmates but also neighbours. And of course, enemies. From the initial teasers, the two characters seem to share many similarities with Adam and Neha from Hum Tum including the relationship that they share with each other. However, given how famous Ahad Raza Mir and Ramsha Khan’s pairing was in the Ramadan special, perhaps Kala Doriya will bring with it nostalgia that not too many would mind to experience once the drama goes on air on Hum TV.
