KARACHI: Madiha Imam and Bilal Abbas Khan starrer, Ek Jhoothi Love Story garnered praises from critics and audiences alike as it released on Zee5 in October 2020. Written by Umera Ahmed, the web series is directed by Mehreen Jabbar. Nearly a year later, the director has announced that the series is now available to watch for audiences in the USA.

While some fans in the US may have already streamed the show elsewhere, those with a subscription for Zee5 now have an additional show to enjoy. As far as the team of Ek Jhoothi Love Story is concerned, director Mehreen Jabbar has another web series in the works, this time starring Zahid Ahmed and Sarwat Gilani.
Writer Umera Ahmed, on the other hand, recently impressed viewers with another web series for the streaming platform. Starring Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir, Dhoop Ki Deewar aired its last episode on Zee5 just last month. While Zee5 did promise to offer free streaming of the show for fans in Pakistan, some viewers were unable to access the show without a subscription fee. Regardless, the show was widely praised by the masses.
