KARACHI: There are a bunch of upcoming drama serials that are much awaited due to their star cast and intriguing storylines. Pehli Si Mohabbat and Dunk are two plays that have viewers excited for their launch. The former marks Maya Ali and Sheheryar Munawar’s TV comeback while the latter stars television’s most loved actors Bilal Abbas, Sana Javed and Noman Ijaz who are coming together for a powerful story. However, one drama that is highly anticipated and is going to hit our TV screens very soon is Raqs e Bismil.
Marking director Wajahat Rauf’s TV comeback, it will see Imran Ashraf and Sarah Khan in unique roles than their past performances. The drama, penned by Hashim Nadeem, is all set to air on December 25.

The posters, followed by teasers, look different from what the small screen usually has to offer. Imran will be seen as an unconventional hero while Sarah portrays a role that is completely in contrast to Miral, her last TV performance that generated immense praise for the actor.

Going by the teasers, Imran’s character displays a lot of aggression while Sarah plays a mellow yet strong-headed young woman. The incredibly talented cast also includes Mehmood Aslam, Saleem Mairaj, Anoushay Abbasi, Furqan Qureshi and marks TV debut of model-actress Zara Sheikh.
