Not only did the drama flip the story around and let gender stereotypes fall to crumbles, it also allowed audiences to laugh, relate and simply enjoy the show. We love how Maha is never titled as a ‘divorcee’ in the drama, nor is she blamed for what happened to her. Her family takes accountability for marrying her off to the wrong guy and promises to never put her in that position again.

Daddo isn’t the only understanding man in the drama. Sarmad is the perfect example of a patient and respectful husband. Adam may be notorious but never disrespectful. Even Professor Qutub completely believes in his daughters and allows them to choose for themselves.
