KARACHI: As Eid ul Adha 2023 approaches, news of upcoming movies are also making waves on social media. And what better way to spend money on a ticket than by getting to watch three movies for the price of one? This Eid will reportedly bring an anthology movie series to the big screen starring some of the biggest names in the industry, both in front of the camera and behind it too! Here is all that you need to know about the anthology.
The anthology will be three short films which will be connected by a common theme or genre. However, each film will have its own plot and characters and will be directed by different directors altogether. In this case, we have Nadeem Baig, Nabeel Qureshi and Marina Khan each directing their own film in the anthology.
The anthology series set to release on Eid ul Adha 2023 have three different themes and quite an impressive cast. The first film will be directed by Nadeem Baig and is said to have an intense drama plot. Starring in Baig’s segment of the anthology is Mehwish Hayat and Wahaj Ali who recently starred in the crime thriller Jurm.

The second movie will be directed by Marina Khan in her directorial debut and has been written by Vasay Chaudhry. The movie is said to be a romantic one with Sheheryar Munawar and Ramsha Khan in lead roles.
The third installment of the anthology will be directed by Nabeel Qureshi. Qureshi has a long list of movies to his name including Na Maloom Afraad, Khel Khel Mein and Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad. While this new movie will be a comedy which is what Nabeel Qureshi does best, it isn’t his usual comedy. Instead, it is said to be a horror comedy starring the husband and wife duo, Hira and Mani.
