KARACHI: It’s always a good day when our favorite actors let fans know that they have an upcoming drama to look forward to. And making her fans happy is Mahira Khan who took to social media to announce her return to the small screen with a new drama after well over a year. Here is all that you need to know about the new project.
The actor turned entrepreneur took to Instagram to share two pictures. The first features Khan with her back to the camera reading the script. Her hair is tied in a braid with a colorful piranda and matching smaller braids adorning the braid which hints at a more traditional style for our main character. Assuming the picture is taken on set, it seems as though Khan is sitting in a festive setting with bright lights and decorations. The second picture gives a little more context. What appears to be the cover page of her script, simply reads “Razia” which is the name of the upcoming project. While we don’t know who will be starring alongside Mahira Khan in the new drama, we do know it will be airing on Express TV. A release date and cast is yet to be announced.

With just a teaser of what to expect, Mahira Khan’s fans will wait impatiently to see the actor back on screen. The last drama she appeared on was alongside Kubra Khan and Usman Mukhtar for Hum Kahan Kay Sachay Thay. But that’s not to say the actor hasn’t been busy since. She’s starred in two movies The Legend of Maula Jatt and Quaid e Azam Zindabad and made her debut as a producer for Barwan Khiladi.
