KARACHI: Sajal Aly and Bilal Abbas Khan, both fine actors, first won over audiences with their on screen chemistry in the 2018 drama O Rangreza. It was definitely exciting for fans to see the two of them share the screen again in 2021, this time for a movie when they starred in Nabeel Qureshi’s Khel Khel Mein. Exactly a year later, the teaser for their new drama serial Kuch Ankahi has been released. Previously titled Kashaf, the drama has been written by Syed Muhammed Ahmed and directed by Nadeem Baig.

In the very first look of Kuch Ankahi, we see major cast members including Sajal Aly, Bilal Abbas Khan, Syed Muhammed Ahmed, Irsa Ghazal, Adnan Samad Khan, Qudsia Ali, Mira Sethi and Vaneeza Ahmed gather together for a family picture in true desi style where everything is pure chaos. However, once the frame is set and the picture is clicked, we also see Babar Ali in the background behind Vaneeza Ahmed, making us wonder how he fits into the equation.
While not much has been revealed about the storyline yet, fans can expect some wedding festivities and dance sequences, as hinted by Mira Sethi’s post on Instagram.

Apart from Kuch Ankahi, 2022 has been a busy year for Sajal Aly who is all set to star in Jemima Goldsmith’s What's Love Got To Do With It? and a web series on Fatima Jinnah. The drama will also be Bilal Abbas Khan’s second serial of the year, after Dobara.
