KARACHI: Pakistan’s leading actress Sajal Aly has proven her mettle time and again. She has given numerous commendable performances in drama serials Nanhi, Aangan, O’Rangreza, Alif, Yeh Dil Mera and many more. She also made her Bollywood debut with Mom alongside Sridevi (late). No wonder she has got a strong fan base in Pakistan and beyond. The incredibly talented actress has another feather in her cap. Sajal Aly won the International Icon award at the Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards (DIAFA) 2020 that took place at the Pointe, Palm Jumeirah last night.

Speaking to Cutacut, she expressed, “It gives me great honour and pride to represent my country on an international platform last night at DIAFA. A stage that was shared by some of the best talent from the international entertainment community. This award is a testament to our flourishing entertainment industry. I would like to dedicate this award especially to the people behind the camera. Thanks to my fraternity, family and fans for always believing in my work and supporting me.”
