KARACHI: Love is in the air! There is nothing like a fairytale wedding to get us in the feels and get us to start planning our big day (with or without an actual beau). While Mahira Khan's celebration was something straight out of our dreams, hers isn’t the only wedding to look to for inspiration. Here are celebrity weddings of 2023 that live rent free in our heads!
Ushna Shah & Hamza Amin
Ushna Shah kickstarted the celebrity weddings of 2023 back in February. The Balaa star married Hamza Amin in a beautiful day time ceremony set against the sea. Dressed in a red and silver lehnga choli designed by Wardha Saleem with a matching red lip and heavy kundan jewelry, Ushna looked absolutely regal!
For her second event, Shah donned on a completely different look. She opted for a white saari with subtle makeup and jewelry complementing her look!
Shaheen Shah Afridi & Ansha Afridi
Who doesn’t love Shaheen Afridi? The fast paced bowler tied the knot with Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha a little around a week ago.
While the ceremony was a very private event, it was incredibly star studded and after the disappointing Asia Cup, it was definitely something to look forward to!
Kiara Advani & Sidharth Malhotra
One of the most hyped up Bollywood celebrity couples of 2023, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra tied the knot earlier this year.
The two were first seen together on the sets of Shershaah and their chemisrty was undeniable, both on screen and off. Soon enough, it became a question of “are they or aren’t they together?” Nevertheless, the two finally put rumours to rest by settling down together earlier this year.
Kiara opted to wear a beautiful Manish Malhotra pastel pink and gold lengha choli for her big day and paired it with a stunning statement emerald neckpiece. What made the ceremony even more romantic was the background song which was altered just for them!
Parineeti Chopra & Raghav Chadha
One of the more recent weddings to land us in the feels. Parineeti Chopra married politican Raghav Chadha in a beautiful ceremony earlier this month.
Dressed in a very subtle and pastel Manish Malhotra ensemble, she let her jewelry do the talking with a chunky emerald neck and headpiece. Floral seemed to be the theme of the wedding which was full of wide smiles and wholesome moments!
Dylan Sprouse & Barbara Palvin
Dyaln Sprouse and his long term girlfriend Barbara Palvin have been serving couple goals for quite some time now. Fans were shocked to learn that just one month after announcing their engagement, the two tied the knot!
The wedding festivities took place in Hungary and the model looked like a dream in a white silk gown. Fans are in for a treat though! The couple revealed that they plan to hold another ceremony in LA in the fall!
Chris Evans & Alba Baptista
One of the more shocking celebrity weddings of 2023 was Hollywood hunk Chris Evans nuptials to Alba Baptista.
The couple had only just made their relationship official when news of their marriage was confirmed. The two got married in a very intimate and private ceremony with the Captain America star’s Marvel co-stars, such as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner in attendance.
As much as we would love to see pictures of the two, there aren’t any (just yet)!
