KARACHI: Producers Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi’s drama serial Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 is a commercial success and is also a current fan favorite. Hence it does not come as a surprise that the soundtrack for the drama serial has been a hit as well. So much so, that the title song of Khuda Aur Mohabbat that has been sung by the legendary Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and newcomer Nish Asher, has surpassed a hundred million views on YouTube. This is the first time a drama serial’s OST has crossed a hundred million views on the streaming site and has thus set a new record on digital and electronic media.

The OST first aired on the 29th of January and became an instant favorite and gathered a massive fan following leading to where it stands today. Beyond just the amazing vocals, the song has been such a huge success because of the team involved in its creation. The song was composed by the musical genius Naveed Nashad who is no stranger to drama serial OSTs. His most popular compositions include OSTs for successful drama serials such as Meray Paas Tum Ho, which garnered a cult following as well as for dramas which include Yeh Dil Mera and Suno Chanda, to name a few. Lyrices for the Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 song have been penned down by Qamar Nashad who is equally as well known for writing lyrics for various OSTS such that of ongoing dramas Mohlat and Pardes.
Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 is a 7th Sky Entertainment production and is currently airing on Geo Entertainment. The drama stars some of the big names of the industry including Iqra Aziz, Feroze Khan, Sunita Marshall, Junaid Khan and Tooba Siddiqui, to name a few. The drama serial is currently on its third season and has gotten favorable reviews since it began.
