KARACHI: Over 20 episodes into the drama Tere Bin, we have to admit the it has become a guilty pleasure. Not because it is spectacular but because of how mediocre it is! Unrequited love, multiple love triangles, ridiculous subplots and a whole lot of will they or won’t they, makes us watch the drama week after week. That’s not to say it doesn’t leave us frustrated. We have some serious questions for the drama cast and crew behind Tere Bin.
Why is Ma Begum so hot and cold?
Ma Begum and her mood swings give us some serious whiplash. From slapping Meerub to kicking her out of the house, to telling her she loves her to giving her an earful for sleeping in, it’s become hard to keep up with the matriarch of the family.

Does Meerub’s room not have a door?
If Ma Begum expects Meerub and Murtasim to produce an heir, the least that can be done is give them privacy. Whether it’s Haya lingering outside their room or Ma Begum bursting in without knocking, or the maids reporting what they see, you really do start to feel bad for the couple.
Why doesn’t Meerub speak up?!
Meerub’s achilleas heel is her inability to shut up. But the one time she needs to open her mouth and tell Ma Begum she isn’t pregnant and that it’s just food poisoning, she remains mum. The whole situation is so silly, it’s actually hilarious. You almost want Meerub to suffer through Ma Begum’s wrath.

Why doesn’t Murtasim speak up?!
Murtasim, the bara sahab of the village, who is able to make grown men quiver with just one glance, is unable to put his psychotic cousin in place. While he claims to love Meerub and tries to keep her happy, he’s also failing miserably at defending his wife when Haya is constantly degrading her or when she’s constantly flirting with him. Not to forget the creepy black magic arc!

Also, why doesn’t he take his wife’s complains against his cousin seriously? Haya isn’t holding back in declaring her love for Murtasim. Why does he still entertain her?
Why isn’t anyone taking Haya’s obsession seriously?
Has everyone forgotten that Haya literally slit her wrists on the night of Murtasim’s marriage? The girl has left no stone unturned in trying to insert herself in her married cousin’s life and she isn’t even being subtle about it! Sis needs help and sis needs to be locked up ASAP!
Watching a drama like Tere Bin will make you want to scream but will keep you hooked till the end!
