KARACHI: If there is one thing Pakistani moviegoers had become accustomed to, it was getting hyped up for a movie which would inevitably be delayed for a few years. And one of the many movies on that list was Maya Ali and Emmad Irfani’s new movie called Aasmaan Bolay Ga. The movie was announced back in 2020 and now two years later, we finally have a tentative release date as well as some details about what the movie is about.
When it was announced that Emmad Irfani and Maya Ali would be working together with filmmaking maestro Shoaib Mansoor on a new movie, there was quite the hype. Afterall, Mansoor had given us masterpieces such as Khuda Kay Liye and Bol and Verna in the past. However, the cast and crew had been pretty tightlipped about the upcoming project. That is until recently.

Emmad Irfani recently revealed that Aasman Bolay Ga is a movie about an F-16 pilot which also explains the connotation behind the title. He confirmed that Maya Ali will be sharing the lead role with him and that their scenes in the movie were shot in Turkey.

Moreover, Faisal Kapadia will be heard on the soundtrack of the new movie. Aasmaan Bolay Ga is also meant to be a tribute to Junaid Jamshed and so it will revisit the Vital Signs era as well! As far as the release is concerned, the cast and crew are hopeful that it will be released by the end of this year or early 2023! It goes without saying, we cannot wait to see what is in store for us!
