LSA 2021 memes are here!

One person clearly stole the show and no, it wasn't Mahira Khan

KARACHI: Lux Style Awards (LSA) 2021 took place on October 9. With a different format adapted to fit the socially distanced world we have become used to living in and a limited audience, the ceremony was recorded in Karachi to go on air later. However, glimpses from the show were enough for the internet to create memes out of. From the list of winners to the red carpet looks for LSA 2021, Twitter manages to criticize almost every angle.

Speaking of red carpet looks, Ali Xeeshan, who became the target of numerous memes after his choice of outfit at the Hum Style Awards, seemed determined to steal the spotlight at the Lux Style Awards as well. In a white sequined cape and sleek hair, the designer once again managed to make people laugh.

Mira Sethi in her plain black dress also left viewers unimpressed.

Mahira Khan, who seemed to be the star of the show given her dance performances, graced the red carpet in an elegant white gown. Khan took everyone’s breath away with her charm and grace, but the face mask that she put on for what looked like a total of ten seconds received quite some criticism.

Khan could have stolen the show with her white gown alone…if only she had not worn a trouser that was visible through the slit of her dress.

That is not to say that everyone at the LSA 2021 red carpet was poorly dressed. A few ladies truly impressed with their outfits, including Mushk Kaleem who also won the award for Model of the Year.

Some of the gown were so fitting (literally) for the occasion that Twitter had a hard time believing that they were a part of a local award show.

However, the biggest surprise (and not a pleasant one) of the night came in the form of LSA 2021 winners, a list that Danish Taimoor was somehow a part of. Winning the award for Best Male Actor (Popular) for his role in Deewangi, the result left the internet in fits.
