KARACHI: A running joke between my married cousins and I is that every time our husbands do something that gets on our nerves, we label it as the “joys of marriage” and that’s exactly what the recently released mini web series Husband Under Arrest on Teeli has shown. Starring real life couple Maham Aamir and Faizan Sheikh, Husband Under Arrest explores the highs and lows of marriage in the most relatable, light-hearted and funniest of ways.

Husband Under Arrest is a great short watch for you if your husband has gotten on your last nerve. It’s a fun watch because by the end of it you realize that you haven’t gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to your partner, but that all men and husbands are the same! Husband Under Arrest perfectly picks up on all those small things that our husbands do, sometimes without realizing it, that bother their wives to no end. It’s reassurance that all husbands will end up forgetting to turn the motor on or to water the plant, they’ll use up your favorite hand cream. And when you confront them about it, they won’t even realize that they’re in the wrong!
The web series that recently came out on Teeli also serves as a reminder to wives that husbands aren’t always annoying. They’re there to remind us that we look great even when we don’t feel it, they help around the house when we really need them to and will happily get in line to buy us our staple halwa puri breakfast every Sunday. And most of all they put up with our impulsive online sale shopping!
