KARACHI: Having made a mark in Pakistan as well as internationally, Mahira Khan does not need any introduction. The superstar is gearing up for three upcoming films while she recently hinted at her small screen comeback. The latest news surrounding the actress is that she is all set to debut as a producer. Mahira Khan took to Instagram earlier today to share the news with fans and followers. She is venturing into production under SoulFry Films with producer Nina Kashif as her “co-pilot”, in the words of the actor.
“There is a story behind everything and I live for stories – hearing them and telling them,” read her first post on the subject. “I’m nervous and excited to share with all of you my first venture into production. I would have no one better to be my co-pilot in this trip with me other than Nina Kashif.”

She then went on to share the title of her first project which is called Baarwaan Khiladi. “A coming of age story set against the backdrop of the OG of all games – Cricket. A story about friendships, relationships, unity, failure, success, love and courage. A small peak into a labour of love and hard work.. from all of us to all of you,” she shared in the posts that followed.

A tapmad original, as the first poster of Baarwan Khiladi says, it seems to have Danyal Zafar and Shahveer Jafry on board in some capacity. In one of her Instagram posts, Mahira Khan tagged the two, saying, “Let’s get this party started boys.”
