KARACHI: Can anyone name a better duo than Sarmad Khoosat and Saba Qamar? We saw the pair work their magic on the big screen with Kamli and since then, we’ve been wanting more! And to the pleasure of fans, that’s exactly what we are getting. Sarmad Khoosat and Saba Qamar have a new drama called Gunnah coming up and the trailer alone will leave you wanting more!

The upcoming drama features a star studded cast sharing the screen with Sarmad Khoosat and Saba Qamar which includes Rabia Butt and Juggan Kazim as well. It doesn’t come as a surprise that the drama isn’t like our usual ones airing on screen but instead is more intense, with lots of twists and turns and a web of complicated stories. As per the official synopsis, Gunnah is “A series which explores the depths of passion as it becomes a dangerous game and the mystique of love, the original sin.” The plot revolves around a powerful man, Malik Hayat (Sarmad Khoosat) whose wife (Saba Qamar) has run off with a younger man. And that sets off a domino effect of lives overlapping. Rabia Butt as a police officer tries to run a clean station while butting heads with the vengeful Malik Hayat and in the midst of all the drama is Juggan Kazmi’s character who isn’t as innocent as she seems. Heartbreak, revenge and a trail of bodies are left in the wake of one event.
Gunnah has been written by Mohsin Ali and directed Adnan Sarwar. It won’t be long before we get to see Sarmad Khoosat and Saba Qamar on the small screen as the new drama is set to air on 8th June on Express TV. Needless to say, we cannot wait!
