KARACHI: Coca-Cola Pakistan has announced the return of Coke Studio Season 12 on Thursday. Often credited as the most influential musical fusion project from Pakistan by audiences and critics alike, Coke Studio Season 12 is all set to launch this October 2019.
The show has sparked our interest already by releasing sneak peaks into the new season on their official YouTube page. Members of the Coke Studio team Kami and Zain act as tour guides to show the different sets and rooms of the show such as the Main Set, Content Room and BTS Room.

The fun tour shows the hard-work that has been put into the beautiful set and the attention-to-detail relating to the instruments that are being used. For instance, this season will be featuring a Balochi banjo in one of the songs. By looking at the videos shared by the brand, one can tell the level of detail that has gone into producing the show. Also, since Rohail Hyatt is back as producer, we didn’t expect anything less from him.
According to The Express Tribune, the official line-up that has been released for this season is even more exciting. With reputable and talented voices such as Atif Aslam, Zoe Viccaji, Umair Jaswal, Fareed Ayaz & Abu Muhammad, Sanam Marvi, Aima Baig, Ali Sethi, Abrar-ul-Haq and many more. Some of these musicians have already been a huge part of the previous seasons of the show and it will be interesting to see what they bring to the table this season.
