The movie stars Rishi Kapoor as the main lead, Sharma Ji, a 58-year-old widower who is forced into an early retirement. He suddenly finds himself with way too much time on his hands while his sons are constantly on his case to find something useful to do. Eventually, Sharma Ji discovers his passion for cooking but when he tells his family he wants to open a fast food joint, they simply do not take him seriously.

Until one day, Sharmi Ji’s friend sets him up to cook for what he assumes is a “spiritual gathering” but turns out to be a kitty party with some of the most vivacious women attending.
