KARACHI: The Pentagon has just released three UFO videos that were originally taken by US navy pilots in 2004 and 2015 and have been circulating the Internet since then.
These leaked videos were never confirmed by the Pentagon before but they say that they are releasing it themselves now “to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real or whether or not there is more to the videos”, said a statement on the Department of Defense website.
“After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems, and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena,” the statement said.
According to the New York Times, a clip from 2004 was filmed by two navy fighter pilots and shows a round object hovering above the water, about 100 miles (160 km) out into the Pacific Ocean.
Naturally, Twitter is having a field day with this news.
