Wahaj Ali, Hania Aamir, Zaviyar Naumaan unite for Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha

KARACHI: Fans of Wahaj Ali are always looking out for the actor’s next project and so the announcement of his new drama is nothing short of exciting for them. Also joining him as lead actors are Hania Aamir and Zaviyar Naumaan. Written by Sidra Sehar Imran, the drama titled Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha has been directed by Badar Mehmood who also directed the Hania Aamir-starrer Ishqiya.

With two teasers released so far, Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha introduces us to Wahaj Ali’s character who is an artist and very much in love with Hania Aamir’s character. While she seems to reciprocate his feelings and the two share some sweet moments together, a second man suddenly comes into the picture and things go south. Zaviyar Naumaan is introduced as a more sophisticated perhaps well-established man who the lead girl is expected to marry. With three actors who have very strong fan followings and are known to be convincing actors, Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha seems like a promising watch. But will it go down the list of dramas who have nothing more than a love triangle to offer? Only time will tell.

The upcoming drama is the first time that Wahaj Ali and Hania Aamir will be starring alongside each other, perhaps a pairing that fans wanted to see for a long time. Aamir, on the other hand, has shared the screen with Zaviyar Naumaan for Sang-e-Mah only recently.

Wahaj Ali was last seen on the small screen in Jo Bichar Gaye while Hania Aamir was a part of the critically acclaimed Mere Humsafar. Zaviyar Naumaan, however, can currently be seen in Bakhtawar.
