KARACHI: If there is one thing that this pandemic has taught is, it is to be able to find entertainment while locked at home. With the new Corona variant making its rounds, it seems as though Eid-ul-Adha will be yet another lowkey festivity. However, the silver lining is that there are a bunch of telefilms releasing this Eid ul Adha which will make staying home a little more bearable, or so we hope.
Telefilms to look forward to on Eid ul Fitr
1.Uff Yeh Biwiyan Reloaded – ARY Digital
Nida Yasir and her husband Yasir Nawaz are on a roll with Eid telefilms. On Eid-ul-Fitr 2021, they featured in the comedy “Uff Yeh Biwiyan” which was such a hit that they decided to come back with its sequel. They’ve been teasing fans with behind the scene clips and fans cannot wait. The cast for the telefilm includes Shaista Lodhi and Sahiba Rambo and will air on ARY Digital while it has been directed by Kashif Saleem.

2. Ghann Chakkar – ARY Digital
It’s been a while since fans have been able to enjoy watching Aijaz Aslam and Faysal Qureshi share the screen. However, the wait is over. The dynamic Main Aur Tum duo are reuniting for an Eid comedy telefilm called Ghann Chakkar alongside Mahnoor Baloch and Hina Dilpazeer. This is sure to leave you in fits of laughter.

3. Mr & Mrs Chooza – ARY Digital
Produced by Big Bang Entertainment and written by Umer Qazi, the Eid Telefilm Mr & Mrs Chooza will feature a new on screen pairing. This time we’ll get to see Saboor Aly and Shahroz Subzwari share the screen in this comedy movie. Let’s wait and see what this one holds in store for fans.
4. Hona Tha Pyaar – Hum TV
Fan favorite Chupke Chupke star Arsalan Naseer is back for another Hum TV project. He is starring in upcoming Eid telefilm called Hona Tha Pyaar that looks like a promising one. With big names such as Bushra Ansari, Behroz Sabzwari, Atiqa Oodho and Sanam Jung onboard, alongside Arslan, fans can’t wait to see what is in store for them.

5. Nawab and Sons – Hum TV
Another Hum TV telefilm has such a star studded cast that fans have high expectations from. Titled Nawab and Sons, the comedy will see Javed Shaikh, Yasir Nawaz, Afzar Rehman star alongside Sana Fakhar and Nausheen Shah. The makers claim it is going to be “comedy-packed,” let’s wait and see how it turns out to be.

Written by Sunaera Fazal and directed by Saima Waseem, this 7th Sky Entertainment telefilm is one fans are looking forward to. Especially the performances by Madiha Imam, Hina Bayat and Affan Waheed. With the three coming together, we are eager to watch what this one has on offer this festive season.
