KARACHI: Only a few days ago, rumours regarding Pakistani actor Meera being admitted to a mental facility in the U.S. made rounds on social media. While her friend and co-actor Imran Abbas brushed away the rumours, Meera Jee recently took to her Instagram to confirm the same. “I am not mad,” she wrote for the ones who were under the impression that her mental health has been suffering. Instead, she revealed the real reason behind her visit to the U.S.

“I’m invited by the Consulate of Pakistan, we have a couture week planned, & we will be doing lots of events together in the near future,” she wrote. Thanking her friend Rehan Siddiqui for hosting and supporting her, she also revealed her plans for the future. “I’m launching my own website & You Tube channel soon. Me & Rehan are planning for short films in America.” She also mentioned how Rehan is a big supporter of Pakistani talent and has helped her as well.
