KARACHI: Multi-award winning fashion house, Sania Maskatiya, has just launched its 2020 Winter Festive Collection. Titled Zeenat, the collection combines decoration and beauty, which the brand believes are two core elements of fashion.
Zeenat is a collection of bridals, festive and formal wear where each garment is meticulously handcrafted with rich detailed embroideries in alluring fabrics. Featuring delicate tulles, fine velvets and soft silks, this collection is unique with a dramatic flair and serves as a perfect celebration of Pakistan’s rich textile heritage.
Edit I of the 2020 winter collection by Sania Maskatiya is divided into two categories: The Velvet Edit and The Bridals. The former is a range of five festive garments with hand embellished details on rich, deep jewel tones. Featuring a blend of dark and light tones, each outfit has its own unique style and perfectly serves a traditional yet modern look.
The Bridals edit, on the other hand, is a curated collection of seven bridal looks that embody elegance with silhouettes inspired by our royal subcontinental heritage. The team shared that their main focus remains on handcrafting intricate patterns and motifs with embellished embroideries on textural fabrics. From the typical red dress perfect for a wedding to pastels which a bride can wear at her valima, the collection is definitely breathtaking.
