KARACHI: Ever since Jennifer Aniston took to her Instagram account to post a picture of the cast of the popular TV show Friends, people are convinced that there is a reunion of the show that is in the works. However, the speculation of a comeback might just be true.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the mega-hit Friends core six stars and the creators of the NBC comedy from Warner Bros. TV are in talks to reunite on HBO Max! This means that Jennifer Aniston (Rachel) Courtney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) , Matt LeBlanc (Joey) , Matthew Perry (Chandler) and David Schwimmer (Ross) are all in talks for an unscripted special to celebrate the sitcom turning 25 this year.
In a recent interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jennifer Anniston was quick to deny allegations of any reboot of the show. However she did admit that the cast was “working on something.” The Hollywood Reporter also noted that Warner Bros. (the producer of Friends) has been actively engaging in a series of events to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary by placing the sitcom’s replica couches at landmarks across the globe, pop-ups of Central Perk and special theatrical screenings of the show.
