Harry Potter spells are actual curses and spells, according to this Catholic School Pastor

The man who runs the school bans all Harry Potter books from its library

KARACHI: A private Catholic School named St Edward Junior School in Nashville, Tennessee shocked many after the owner of the school, a Pastor, decided to remove and ban all Harry Potter books from the school library. This decision was made because according to him, the spells could conjure evil spirits.

The Pastor believes that the incantations within the Harry Potter books are most likely to be real ones written by author J.K. Rowling. In an interview with a local newspaper, The Tennessean, he stated that he had come across several exorcists who suggested that it would be a wise decision to remove all Harry Potter books from the premises.

In an email to The Tennessean, Rev. Dan Reehill, the pastor at St Edward Junior School explained, “The curses and spells used in the books are actual curses and spells; which when read by a human being risk conjuring evil spirits into the presence of the person reading the text.”

Since the incident, people have taken to Twitter to voice their hilarious opinions on the matter.
