KARACHI: The week is finally over and weekend is here to recharge us. If you want some ideas on what you can do in the next two days, here are a few options:
1. Flower Show 2019
Keep back your sweaters and shawls to where they belong in the tiny corner of your cupboard. This is the most you get in Karachi, after all. Spring (read summers Karachiites) is here and the annual flower show at Seaview is up. Even if you are not into gardening, the flower show really brightens up your day with all the lovely colors and sprawl of arrangements florists do. Plus you can always enjoy the view of the beach with that too. Last three days left, so head over soon.

2. Sindh Literature Festival 2019
The third edition of Sindh Literature Festival is being held in Karachi. There will be discussions on poetry, politics and current affairs and dance performances of the likes of Sheema Kirmani.

3. Behbud Spring Fiesta
A family event, Behbud Spring Fiesta is all games for children and more than 100 stalls for shopping. Plus there will be celebrity appearances, competitions and prizes and of course, food.

4. 3100 Meters Above Sea Level-An IEI Pakistan Documentary
A special documentary by Marvi Soomro being screened at T2F focuses on the remote valley of Shimshal in Gilgit Baltistan. The work gives an insight on how educational efforts are overpowering the many difficulties faced by people owing to the weather and harsh terrain conditions. Both informative and inspiring, the documentary is a great way to spend a Saturday evening.
