1. Statement lips
It’s time to bid farewell to your nude lipsticks and clear lip-glosses because this year is all about loud lips. A colourful pout is the most stylish yet sophisticated way to amp your bare-faced look. Heading out for happy hour or to work? Just slide on a bold lip colour and you’re good to go. Opt for cherry lips or the classic red.
2. Glossy makeup
Nothing highlights your features better than a little gloss, but nailing dewy lids is trickier than lips. To get the best wet look, prep your eye lids with a little lid primer and apply your favourite eye shadow. Seal the lid with a layer of gloss and work it.
3. 50 shades of grey
No, we’re not talking about the movies but if you’ve been thinking of growing out your grey hair lately, 2019 might just be the year for you. Just make sure your hair looks healthy.
4. Lilac locks
Lilac locks are all set to take over your Instagram feed. The soft, pastel colour will brighten your cold winter days and is a playful choice for the upcoming spring/summer season. For a bolder look, dye your hair to a rich lilac shade or colour a few strands through balayage.
