KARACHI: With some of the most popular dramas having either ended or are close to ending, we are always on the lookout for something new to get hooked on. ARY Digital has offered us just what we are looking for! The channel’s latest drama Radd was recently announced and we cannot wait!
Radd has been written by Sanam Mehdi Zaryab and directed by Ahmed Bhatti. What makes the new drama so exciting is that it boasts quite the cast with Syra Yousaf and Sheheryar Munawar sharing the screen with Arsalan Naseer! While this new drama isn’t the first time that the two actors have shared the screen (Project Gazi and Sinf-e-Ahan), their pairing is just as exciting considering how much chemistry they shared when they posed together for OK Pakistan’s cover! The small teaser for Radd features Munawar reciting a small poem which speaks of heartache and hope gives us a small insight into what to expect.
While we anxiously wait for more news about the drama, you can still catch a glimpse of the two leads separately. While Radd will mark Syra Yousaf returning to the small screen after quite some time, the actor recently starred in the young adult romance Babylicious. Similarly, Sheheryar Munawar has kept his plate full as well. He charmed audiences with his role as Asfar in the ongoing Kuch Ankahi, won over hearts with his latest directorial Budhi Ghori Lal Lagam and also stared in the anthology series Teri Meri Kahaniyan alongside Ramsha Khan.
It goes without saying that we cannot wait to see what the two actors have in store for us with their new drama!
