KARACHI: Weekend is here and it is time to re-charge and relax. Quite a lot is happening in Karachi, so take a pick from all the interesting events happening in the next couple of days:

1. Soulful Melodies- Umeed ki Kiran

If you’re up for taking it slow this weekend and just want to relax and have a good time, then this is for you. Ghazal maestro, Tina Sani will be in the house in her amazing deliverance of Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s work.

2. International Public Art Festival 2019

The work of more than 50 artists is being showcased at Karachi Port Trust. Curated by Amin Gulgee, Zarmeene Shah and Sara Pagganwala, the show is full of talent, expertise and creativity for exhibiting the works of photographers, painters and sculptors.

3. Contemporary Anxieties – The Body And Its politics

The work of seven artists is up in IVS’s gallery. Titled ‘Contemporary Anxieties,’ the show depicts the relation of mind and body with the environment. The show is running till March 28.

4. Jashan-e-Baharan 2019

This is all fun and recreation for both members and non-members of Pavilion End Club. There will be musical concerts, fireworks, rides, flower shower, pet show, circus and of course, food.
