KARACHI: The week is over and now is the time to relax and chill. Here are a few ideas on what you can do this weekend:

1. Coke Food and Music Festival 2019-19

Seems like CokeFest is back again. It is the perfect weather for Karachi (not too cold and not too hot, yet). There is food and there is music and that’s all you need to get back in relaxing zone.

2. DA Creek Club & RPK Events Family Carnival & Pet Show 2019

There will be pet shows, magic shows, celebrities’ meet-ups and many other games. This is a family carnival and everyone is supposed to have a good time. Entry ticket Rs350.

3. Qavvali Mefil: Zafar Niazi & Masood Nizai

T2F has been introducing new Qavvals to Karachiites for a while now. This latest edition is bringing renowned Aroli Gharana, the grandsons of Moin Niazi, winner of Pride of Performance Award 2005. Entrance ticket is Rs500.

4. JOY Reading Group: The Revolutionary Poetry of Faiz Ahmed Faiz

Ambassador (retd.) Attiya Mahmood will be reading Faiz Ahmed Faiz acceptance speech of the Lenin Prize. For those of you who love Faiz’s work and can’t stop talking about it, here’s your chance to discuss it with others over a cup of tea. Entrance is Rs 200 for non members.
