1. Bas Ek Piyali Chai: Film Screening and Discussion
British Council is screening Bas Ek Piyali Chai (Just a Cup of Tea), which follows the journey of a tea-seller Ghulam Raees who reminisces the good old days when he used to work at Ahmedeen’s tea shop on a busy street of town. The screening will be followed by a moderated panel discussion with producer Ali Jaura and director Muhammad Belaal.

2. Hop On Hop Off Art Attack
Super Savari Express is launching a tour around the city to showcase prominent artists and galleries and learn about them as well! The tour includes a visit to 5 galleries and an artist’s residence. It also includes lunch and refreshments, all for Rs2,750 per person.

3. Mazdoor Aurat Jalsa
Women Democratic Front-Karachi is organising ‘Mazdoor Aurat Jalsa’ on May 5, 2019. The jalsa aims to celebrate and pays tribute to all those labourers belonging to various departments and sectors who shape our lives with their hard work and labour, according to the event page.
