Wahaj Ali, Ayeza Khan pair up for Mein

KARACHI: 2023 has definitely been Wahaj Ali's year. Starring alongside some of the biggest names in some of the most well received dramas, it seems as though there is no stopping the Tere Bin star. So much so, he recently took to social media to share the first look of his latest drama. This time, Wahaj Ali will be sharing the screen with Ayeza Khan for a drama called Mein and the teaser looks like something out of a dream!

Written by Zanjabeel Asim and directed by Badar Mehmood, Mein is set to air on ARY Digital. While the first look doesn’t give away much about the plot, it does hint towards what we can expect to see from Wahaj Ali and Ayeza Khan as Zaid and Mubashira in the new drama.

The drama seems to be set in the yester years as suggested by the horse carriages, Ayeza Khan's old fashioned hairdo and dress and more importantly, by the newspaper that Wahaj Ali is holding. A chance encounter between our two main leads results in love at first sight and adorable coffee dates. But all that glitters is not gold and it seems as though things will sour up between the loved up couple, though it isn’t clear what makes things go downhill.

With just the first look being released and a whole lot of unanswered questions, it will be interesting to see what Mein has in store for us. In the meantime, we are all looking forward to the trailer and release date for the new drama!
