Sonya Hussyn announces next drama serial, Mor Moharaan

KARACHI: The dynamic Sonya Hussyn has proven her mettle time and again. She has some incredible performances to her name, including in drama serials Aesi Hai Tanhai, Ishq Zah e Naseeb and the recently concluded Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida. Though the scripts do not always resonate well with viewers, her portrayals have been intense and strong. One can currently catch her amazing performance in ongoing drama serial Saraab in which she plays a schizophrenic. She even received backlash for her lack of understanding around the condition but she continues to spread the message on her social media. In one of her Instagram posts, Sonya Hussyn mentioned it is important for parents to take care of children with special needs.

While Saraab is still on air, the actress has signed on for another project. According to her recent Instagram post, it is titled Mor Moharaan and is going to air soon. ““The earth has music for those who listen” 🌎🎵 Here’s to new beginnings and to my everlasting love for nature 🌺 Presenting #MorMoharaan,” she wrote while sharing a picture of the script.

Written by the incredible Ali Moeen, it is being directed by Owais Khan, going by the title page of the script of the first episode. We are not sure about Sonya’s costars in this one yet but we hope the story touches our hearts. With Ali Moeen’s script, chances are it is going to hit all the right notes.
