Exclusive: Imran Ashraf on his next project opposite Ushna Shah

KARACHI: Imran Ashraf has been on a roll. The actor recently won an LSA for his commendable performance as Bhola in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi. Meanwhile, he is making waves as Adam in Mushk and Moosa in Raqs e Bismil – both ongoing dramas features him as an unconventional hero. But that’s not all for the actor as he has signed on a new project. Imran Ashraf is all set to star opposite Ushna Shah in an upcoming, untitled TV project.

He recently shared a picture with the director of the project, Badar Mehmood of Cheekh fame. Badar Mehmood has also directed the ongoing drama Dunk that is generating a lot of hype. In a conversation with Cutacut, Imran shared that the project will be produced by Fahad Mustafa, under the banner of Big Bang Entertainment.

He also informed that it is a fun story, featuring Ushna Shah opposite him. Ushna impressed fans with her performance in Balah while she is presently playing one of the protagonists in Bandhay Aik Dor Say. Imran also revealed that the cast includes actor and host Faizan Sheikh as well as Maham Amir, in addition to Ushna and him.

The project will take some time to release, according to Imran and is at a very initial stage right now. Besides, Imran Ashraf is all set to make his big-screen debut with Dum Mastam. Produced by Adnan Siddiqui and directed by Mohammad Ehteshamuddin, the film will release in 2021. It will feature Imran opposite Amar Khan, who is also the writer of the film. She will soon be seen on the small screen in Qayamat that is going on air on January 5.
