According to a report by Geo News, the Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to stop harassing witnesses in this case. Ghani’s legal counsel has also suggested that the FIA has been ‘abusing authority’ in attempts to shorten Shafi’s witness list.
Further proceedings are set to happen on the 26th of September, 2019.
Ghani has received unwavering support on Twitter for speaking out against the treatment she has had to endure by the FIA and for her resilience.
