1. Night at the Opera: Lydia Jane Haynes in Concert

The British Council is hosting Lydia Jane Haynes for a night of opera and song at the Karachi library. Lydia will sing a repertoire ranging from Mozart Opera Arias to Rodgers and Hammerstein songs, accompanied on the piano by acclaimed Pakistani classical pianist, Asad Anees.

Registration fee is Rs400 for library members and Rs600 for non-members.

2. Aurat March discussion

Organisers of the Aurat March are holding an open discussion about the march and it’s contributions to dialogue surrounding feminism, patriarchy and women rights. “Come one, come all” it states on their Instagram page.

3. Treat your cat day
