KARACHI: Friday is finally here and it’s time to relax and chill. If you’re looking for something to do in the next two days, here are a few things to do:

1. Karachi in the 1950s and All That Jazz

We have all heard from our parents how cool a place Karachi used to be. Here’s your chance to check out what the nightlife with numerous clubs, hotels, cinemas and beaches looked like. The exhibition started out last week, so if you didn’t get the chance to check this out, do it this weekend!

2. Orange Tree Family Funfair 2019

Orange Tree Family is known for their schools and colleges where more than 160 deserving students are studying. They have arranged a fundraiser for healthcare and education of these children and it looks like it will be fun. There will be a lot of activities, games, boat ride, pet show, competitions, heavy bikes and of course, food. What a better way to enjoy and make a difference in someone’s life at the same time.

3. Write-in sessions with DWL at the Karachi Library

Writing is very isolating. One needs loads of motivation, ideas and again, motivation. But one thing that can really help is a community of supportive people who are as eager as you and want to learn and help. Desi Writers Lounge have kept write-in sessions occasionally and here is yet another chance to be part of the ever-growing community. Entrance is Rs.200 for non-members.
