How to recover from #BakraEid

Goodbye meat, hello veggies

By Cutacut Editorial Team

KARACHI: If you’re anything like us then you must be overflowing with your intake of red meat by now and already halfway on your way to becoming a vegetarian. Seriously, we get it. Therefore, we’ve come up with a few alternatives to red meat to help you recover from this foodgasm; that is, if you want to. *wink*

1. Hit the gym

You’ve done all the eating, now it’s time to lose a few pounds. And no, arranging a barbecue at your place doesn’t count.

2. Give up meat for a year

Can you honestly eat any more red meat this year? Or let us rephrase that: can you eat any more red meat until next Eid-ul-Azha? Vegetables, grains, and beans are your friends. Because…

Unless you’re craving meat…

3. Switch back to chicken

Nothing like a bucket of fried chicken to unwind.

4. Seafood?

Prawns are nice. Fish is nice. Let’s just keep eating those, shall we? Because if we see another dead animal on the road…ugh

5. Give up on food altogether

But if you’ve had too much of food in general, and not just meat in particular, then we can’t help you. The only solution is cold turkey. But the result won’t be pretty.

Thanks and hope you recover soon. *burppp*
