Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor tie the knot in an intimate ceremony

KARACHI: The most awaited Bollywood wedding has finally taken place and Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are finally married! The couple wasted no time in sharing pictures from their nuptials and friends and family have begun sending in their love and congratulations for the new couple.

Alia Bhatt shared the pictures from her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor and in a heartfelt caption wrote, “With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.”

Her mother, Soni Razdan also posted a sentimental caption to go with the picture of the newlyweds and wrote, “They say you lose a daughter when you gain a son. I say we gain a wonderful son, a lovely warm family and my darling beautiful baby girl is right here with us always.”

Karan Johar also took to social media to express how happy he was after attending the Ali Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor wedding and wrote, “It’s days like this that we live for …where there is the most beautiful blend of family, love and absolute emotion….. overwhelmed and so full of love in my heart…”

Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also expressed her joy and wrote a sweet caption for her sister-in-law, “Couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our family! We love you and can’t wait to be a part of this incredible journey you both have embarked on! Welcome to the family my precious girl -But you always were a part of it.”

Family members such as Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor also took to social media to welcome Ali Bhatt to the family. As did costars and colleagues which included Anushka Sharma and Aadar Jain who wished them well and welcomed them to the family.

Needless to say, we cannot get over how adorable Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor looked on their wedding!
