Pehli Si Muhabbat to hit TV screens on January 23

KARACHI: Fans have eagerly been waiting for Pehli Si Muhabbat, a drama which has been creating hype for weeks and now finally has a release date. After continuously keeping its viewers curious with posters, teasers and trailers, ARY Digital has announced that Pehli Si Muhabbat is set to release on 23rd January and will air on the channel every Saturday at 8 pm (PST).

From what has been revealed in the trailers so far, Pehli Si Muhabbat seems like a tragedy. Sheheryar Munawwar and Maya Ali’s characters are clearly in love but their families do not seem to agree to the relationship. The OST of the drama suggests the same. Sung by Ali Zafar, the lyrics by Asad Shah hint towards a love lost and a broken heart. “Pehli Si Muhabbat is not a saas-bahu drama, neither does it have any extra-marital affairs or love triangles,” Maya Ali shared with Cutacut earlier. “It is a love story with its twists and turns.”

The OST itself was rather impressive as the lyrics, chorus, direction and editing were all on point. The song might already be ringing in many fans’ ears as they eagerly wait for the drama to begin. What is particularly special about Pehli Si Muhabbat is the return of Sheheryar Munawwar and Maya Ali to the small screen after years. The two have previously proven to have great on-screen chemistry through their movie Parey Hut Love.
