Action, suspense and supernatural forces: The teaser for Umro Ayyar is finally here!

KARACHI: It’s been a while since the likes of Usman Mukhtar and Sanam Saeed began dropping hints about their upcoming project. Slowly and steadily, small bits of information came to light about the movie titled Umro Ayyar – A New Beginning. Safe to say there was quite a bit of hype which has been reignited since the trailer was launched. Here is all that you need to know about the upcoming movie!

While the movie is titled Umro Ayyar – A New Beginning, it is actually based on a popular character from Dastan-e-Amir Hamza, a collection of Urdu stories written by Ghalib Lakhnavi back in 1855 which revolved around magic, adventure, and intrigue. And that is exactly what the teaser for the new movie promises. Directed by Azfar Jafri, the movie boasts an ensemble cast featuring Sanam Saeed, Usman Mukhtar, Ali Kazmi, Adnan Siddiqui and Simi Raheal to name a few. It also promises a whole lot of action, suspense and commendable graphics which make the centuries old tale more relatable to the audience.

While the teaser doesn’t give too much away about the plot, that adds to the element of mystery. Usman Mukhtar is a seemingly ordinary man who finds himself in the midst of a battle between light and dark. Between sword fights, gun battles and fearless women, our hero will find himself fighting off supernatural forces as well. As per the official synopsis of the movie, “In a realm of enchantment, where legends reside. Where good clashes with evil, heroes will rise. Where ancient lore echoes, tales come alive. Embrace the magic and let your spirits thrive.”

While the Umro Ayyar movie doesn’t have a release date just yet, we cannot wait to see what it has to offer!
