Angelina Jolie teases new clothing line that will allow for creative expression

KARACHI: It isn’t unheard of for celebrities to branch out and start new ventures. But where Angelina Jolie is concerned, we can all expect that there is more than what meets the eye. And that is exactly the case with the new Angelina Jolie clothing line called Atelier Jolie. Here is all that you need to know about the new venture.

Jolie took to Instagram to announce the launch of her new clothing line and in her mission statement for the brand, she explained, “Atelier Jolie is a place for creative people to collaborate with a skilled and diverse family of expert tailors, pattern makers and artisans from around the world. A place to have fun. To create your own designs with freedom.”

The actor went on to explain that the idea for Atelier Jolie stems from, “My appreciation and deep respect for the many tailors and makers I’ve worked with over the years, a desire to make use of the high-quality vintage material and deadstock fabric already available, and also to be part of a movement to cultivate more self-expression.”

The official Instagram account for the clothing line claims that the brand is an, “effort to democratize the fashion industry, allowing the customers to have access to a collective of emerging designers and master artisans. There will also be an inclusive online resource for finding garment makers, making use of curated dead stock and vintage materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces that embody personal creativity and purpose.”

Seeing as the project has only just been announced, not a lot of details have been shared about what is to come. However, the clothing venture is set to release in the Fall of 2023.
