KARACHI: After his impressive Coke Studio collaboration earlier this year, Atif Aslam is back with his latest offering and has just unveiled the first look for his upcoming single, ‘Moonrise’ starring Amy Jackson. He teased his fans a few days ago when he shared the official poster for his new song with a caption, “Chasing love by the moonrise” and revealed the British actress and model as his leading lady in the upcoming music video.
Now that the teaser trailer for the new song is out, we have a hint of what to expect. Flashy outfits, fast cars, sizzling chemistry all paired up with Atif Aslam crooning away in Punjabi, what more could we ask for? This music video marks the first collaboration between Atif Aslam and Amy Jackson, a former Miss Teen World, who is mainly known for her work in Indian films. She made her US debut in 2017 with DC Comics Supergirl. The poster image for the new song shows Aslam and his leading lady both looking longingly into each other’s eyes with another picture of the singer performing against the backdrop of a moon superimposed onto it. And the teaser delivers on the romance the poster promised!
‘Moonrise’ will be released under the label of Tarish Music, with Raj Ranjodh behind the music and lyrics. The upcoming music video is directed by Adnan Qazi and is produced by Tarun Chaudhary and Omar Ahmed. Aslam previously worked with the label on his hit single ‘Rafta Rafta’, which starred Sajal Aly in the music video, making it the duo’s first-ever on-screen collaboration.
The full music video is set to release on 27th October and safe to say, we cannot wait to witness the chemistry between the two stars. And of course, sway to yet another Atif Aslam song!
