Teaser trailer for Sinf-e-Aahan is here

KARACHI: There’s no denying that audiences are waiting impatiently for the much awaited, upcoming series Sinf-e-Ahan. With a stellar cast which includes some of the biggest names in the industry including Sajal Aly, Syra Yousuf, Yumna Zaidi, Kubra Khan, Ramsha Khan, Usman Mukhtar and Sheheryar Munawar, the drama promises to deliver quality content. However, the cast and crew of Sinf-e-Ahan has been pretty tight lipped about what to expect and so fans got a treat when the first teaser trailer of the series dropped. Here’s what we know so far.

It’s no secret that the project is female centric and it comes as no surprise that the teaser trailer introduces us to the main characters in the series. From what we can tell is that each woman comes from a different background and despite the differences, they all end up in the army. While Yumna Zaidi and Ramsha Khan who play Shaita and Pariwesh, are dressed in clothes that are synonymous with village wear, Kubra Khan and Sajal Aly who play Rabia and Mahjabeen seem to be from complete different backgrounds altogether. We also get the first glimpse of the Sri Lankan actress Yehali Tashiya in her role in the drama series. The one thing each woman has in common is as the trailer tells us, “She doesn’t need a hero, she was raised to be one.”

The drama has been written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Nadeem Baig. The project has been produced by Humayun Saeed, Samina Humayun Saeed, Shahzad Nasib and Sana Shahnawaz in association with ISPR. If there is one thing that we are sure of, it is that Sinf-e-Ahan with its new teaser trailer cannot come sooner!
