Can’t wait for Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay to go on-air

KARACHI: A rather exciting news was delivered to audiences earlier this year when they learnt that Mahira Khan is making a comeback to the world of drama. Recently, Zainab Qayoom shared a picture on her Instagram profile that caught our attention. The actor shared a picture with the cast of the upcoming drama Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay including Mahira Khan, Kubra Khan and Usman Mukhtar. Naturally, Mahira Khan caught our attention the most, especially given the fact that we have not witnessed the superstar on the small screen in years. Her last drama was Bin Roye which aired in 2015. Since then, the actor has focused on movies and music videos, and even produced a web series, Barwaan Khiladi.

Details mentioned by the team of Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay reveal that the drama has been directed by Farooq Rind and produced by Nina Kashif. The drama is based on a novel by none other than Umera Ahmed, whose web series Dhoop Ki Deewar is currently streaming on Zee5.

Another post shared on the official account of Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay reveals Ali Tahir as another cast member. Ali Tahir will be playing the role of Tahir. Next to him in the picture is Zainab Qayoom as Shagufta. Perhaps the two will be paired together in a drama as a couple, but no details have been specified yet. Shameem Hilaly was also spotted in another BTS post shared by the team.

Safe to say, audiences have high expectations from the drama especially the audience’s favorite, Mahira Khan. Khan’s super hit drama Humsafar was also based on a novel and was extremely appreciated.
