Yashma Gill, Kinza Hashmi starrer Azmaish releases teasers

KARACHI: Teasers for drama serial Azmaish are out and while the project is a directorial debut for Fajr Mirza, it looks promising from the first look. Featuring Yashma Gill and Kinza Hashmi in lead roles, the teasers hint towards an intense storyline with class difference as a major theme.

Gill plays the role of Shiza, an upper class spoilt girl while Hashmi (Nimra) is the adopted sister whose father is constantly referred to as a gambler and clearly out of the picture. The teasers reveal Shiza as a character who is full of contempt for her step sister and treats her as an outcast even though they live in the same house. Yashma Gill who is currently starring in Phaans, in a recent Instagram post also revealed how Shiza’s role has been a learning experience for the actor. “Presenting to you the first teaser of the project and the character that I enjoyed playing the most this year,” she wrote, “From learning how to fence, to making new friends and putting my trust in other people’s vision I’ve learnt SO much!”

While Fahad Sheikh is yet to make an appearance in the teasers of Azmaish, the poster of the drama confirms that he is a part of the project. The actor’s Instagram posts also give away the name of his character, Basit, who seems to be adapting the role of Nimra’s (Kinza Hashmi) love interest.
