Kareena Kapoor is working on a ‘Pregnancy Bible’ for moms-to-be

KARACHI: Kareena Kapoor has to be one of the most talked about mothers in Bollywood, and her son, Taimur, the most popular star child from the minute he was born. Combined with the spotlight under which her family always is and the fact that she and Saif Ali Khan have another baby on the way, Kareena Kapoor sure knows a thing or two about handling pregnancy and the paparazzi. Making the announcement on Taimur’s birthday, the actor revealed that her new book, Pregnancy Bible will be a guide for all moms-to-be and will be published in 2021.

“Today is the perfect day to announce my book- Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible for all you moms-to-be. I’ll talk about everything from morning sickness to diet and fitness and being a mom-on-the-go!” she wrote.

“This book will describe all the medical aspects of pregnancy with a focus on the mother and her symptoms, and include the actresses tips on everything from managing morning sickness to pregnancy diet, exercise, wellness and preparing a nursery,” reads the post.

South Asian societies strongly believe that pregnancy is something to hide. Women try their hardest to hide their baby bump and make sure to never talk about it in front of men. Pregnancy is also equated to slowing down, taking a break from work and physical activity. Kareena Kapoor, however, has remained active throughout her pregnancy and set an example for many. Mom-to-be Anushka Sharma, too, has been quite active during her pregnancy.
