Filmmaker Jawad Sharif in his film called Indus Blues explores the fading art of folk music in Pakistan and how artists/musicians are struggling to keep it alive and relevant. With focus on the diverse cultures around Indus that has over 70 spoken languages and deep roots going back centuries, this film sounds both intriguing and connecting to our country’s extensive traditions and culture. The film will be screened at Capri Cinema on M.A. Jinnah Road.

The Women Democratic Front in Karachi are organising a talk/discussion circle about political organisation of movements in order for them to be effective and radical.
